User Profile

As of August 27th, 2009, I'm no longer nostalgic.

The old profile is gone. Ha!

This is a journal with a two way split. On one end, you have every entry I made while in and out of High School some years ago, those end in 2005. Everyone can read 'em.

2009 is my return to this place, and those entries are more or less Friends Only. Not out of some unwarranted hubris or self important preening, or a bar for measurement you must fufill to read my writings, but for the sake of order. We don't want teen Lucien mixing with the older one, do we? ;D The goings on of my daily life, rants, thoughts etc still go on here daily, or at least as close as I can manage it. =)

I've changed in subtle ways where it counts, but the basics remain the same: I'm a somewhat undefinable guy from Brooklyn into gaming and writing. I love music and often define my days by the first track that pops into my head when I wake up. I treat my acquaintences like my friends, and friends like they're family. I love animals and have three parrots with unusual names and personalities. I'll always have a place in my heart for that one ex I can say I loved because caring for her helped me define and realize my own passions and direction I wanted to head in life.

I'm in posession of a coldly logical, sarcasm laden, dry internet cadence that may ward you off until you get to know me and realize it's just how I sound more often than not. I'm actually very silly.

When I'm not here, I'm out wandering the streets and discovering the boroughs one street at a time, getting swept up into impromptu hangouts and parties, am off playing everything I can get my hands on, or just working (In a game store, natch) so I can continue to finance my wonderful hobby. I kid you not when I say that in addition to a (relatively) normal life, it's what I live for.
